Learn about the different states of relaxation and how yoga’s “maya koshas” provide a kind of map to help us move beyond the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that keep us stuck in old patterns of behaviour. Experience the shimmering stillness of your True Self through the meditative practice of Yoga Nidra.

Thursday, June 17 – Healing Through the Chakras

Learn to tune into the wisdom of the chakras as subtle energy centers that provide a map to healing physical tension and pain, as well as anxiety and depression in our minds. Experience a yoga nidra practice to balance your chakras, soothe your nervous system, while creating new pathways to your true and eternal peaceful self.

To be comfortable lying on the floor, please have the following available:

·       Yoga mat

·       Blanket

·       Pillows/cushions

If you’re not comfortable lying on the floor, Yoga Nidra can also be practiced lying on your bed or a comfy reclining easy chair.
